Options for building apps with mydigitalstructure
mark.byers

http://mydigitalstructure.com/gettingstarted_build_options lists the 6 different common options you can use to build apps on mydigitalstructure - from doing nothing through to a fully architected app.

Also, all these options are highly compatible with existing classic mydigitalspace applications - so you can incrementally add this functionality to any application built on the ibCom framework over the last 12 years!

Automating Advanced Search Results
mark.byers

Cassie has just completed some great work in regards to using the new generic functionality that allows the results of an advanced search to create a custom email that is personally sent to each person using the data returned in the results.

This gives incredible power to the designer/developer when creating work flow alerts and also user created bulk communications.

eg

1. User defines search
2. Search results returned
3. User uses document editor to insert the "tags" based on the other data returned
4. User then clicks Send
5. The mydigitalstructure.com messaging engine then sends to each person in the original search.

We excited to announce that AltusQ [altusQ.com.au] have come on board as our strategic advisers as we continue to build the foundations for the growth of ibCom and the mydigitalstructure.com platform.

AltusQ bring a set of skills which will help us establish and build mutually beneficial relationships with our strategic partners and create a thriving developer community - which is key to organisations getting the most out of the mydigitalstructure.com platform.

Another key step in the growth of the community of which we are all part of.

Don't forget to come and see us at the Microsoft Windows 8 developers road shows in each state, starting this Saturday in Melbourne, dates are on this page.

We are also at the Startup Weekend even in Adelaide - which should be fun - details on this page!
